Contract Staffing
Skilled consultants on your project for a defined window — ramped up fast, off the books when the work is done.
- 3, 6 and 12-month engagements
- W2, Corp-to-Corp and 1099
- We carry payroll and compliance
VRJ Solutions LLC places vetted technology and business professionals into contract, contract-to-hire and full-time roles — and helps consultants find work that fits their skills, their rate and their life.
We work a small number of requirements at a time and submit people we would personally vouch for. No resume spraying, no bait-and-switch rates.
Skilled consultants on your project for a defined window — ramped up fast, off the books when the work is done.
Try the fit before you commit. Your team works alongside the consultant, and converts them to payroll when it clicks.
Full-time hires sourced, screened and presented as a short, serious slate — not a stack of maybes.
Need an outcome instead of a headcount? We scope the work, put a small team on it, and own delivery.
Background checks, I-9 and E-Verify, drug screening, MSA and insurance paperwork — handled before day one.
Market rate data, realistic timelines and honest feedback on whether a requirement is fillable as written.
You send a resume into a portal and hear nothing for three weeks. We think that is a low bar to clear, so we clear it: every applicant gets a real answer, and every submission gets your written approval first.
We would rather send you three people who can do the job than thirty who match on keywords. Every submission arrives with a written summary of why we think they fit — and what we are unsure about.
The same process whether you are hiring or looking. You always know what stage you are at.
Thirty minutes. What the role actually needs, what the budget really is, and what the timeline looks like — or on the talent side, what you want next and what you will not accept.
We work our network first, then the market. Every candidate gets a live conversation and a skills screen before they reach your inbox.
Three to five people, each with a written fit summary, confirmed rate, availability date and work authorization. Usually within 48 hours of intake.
We coordinate scheduling, prep both sides, collect feedback within one business day, and handle rate negotiation so nobody has an awkward conversation.
Paperwork, background checks and equipment sorted before day one. Then we check in at week one, month one and quarterly — with both sides.
We stay narrow on purpose. These are the areas where we can screen properly instead of forwarding a keyword match.
Java, .NET, Python, Node, React, Angular, mobile, API and platform work.
AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD and site reliability.
Data engineering, warehousing, BI, Snowflake, Databricks, ML engineering.
SOC analysts, GRC, IAM, application security and cloud security posture.
SAP, Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow and Salesforce — functional and technical.
Manual, automation, performance and test architecture across the stack.
Business analysts, product owners, scrum masters and project managers.
Service desk, network operations, systems administration and field support.
We are building this company on the things large staffing shops stopped doing once their recruiters got a quota. Here is what that means in practice.
Not a call center. The person who takes your requirement is the person who screens the candidates and follows up after the placement.
Clients see the markup. Consultants see the bill rate. Nobody has to guess what happened to the money in between.
Every candidate hears back — including a no. Every client gets a written update on Friday, even when the update is “still working it.”
If a requirement is unfillable at the budget, or a role is wrong for a candidate, we say so. Wasting your week is worse than losing the deal.
First slate inside 48 hours where the market allows — and a real check-in schedule after the start date, not a silent handoff.
E-Verify, I-9, background and drug screening, insurance certificates and signed MSAs — done before anyone starts, every time.
Because you get attention a larger firm cannot give you. We are deliberately taking on a small number of clients so each requirement gets worked properly. If that is not enough on its own, start us on one role alongside your existing vendors and compare the slates.
Contract placements are billed as an hourly rate with the markup disclosed. Direct placements are a percentage of first-year base salary, contingent on the hire. Exact numbers depend on role and volume — we will quote in writing before any work starts, and we do not charge candidates anything, ever.
For common roles in active markets, a first slate inside 48 hours of the intake call. Niche or clearance-required roles take longer and we will tell you a realistic date at intake rather than promise 48 hours and miss it.
W2 hourly, W2 salaried, Corp-to-Corp with incorporated consultants and their vendors, and 1099 where it is appropriate. We handle payroll, taxes, workers compensation and general liability insurance on W2 placements.
We work with any candidate legally authorized to work in the US, including those on existing work authorization. Whether a specific role supports transfer or sponsorship depends on the client, and we confirm that before submitting anyone so nobody wastes an interview.
No. We are paid by the hiring company. If anyone in staffing asks you for a fee to be placed, walk away.
If a direct placement leaves or is let go within 90 days, we refill the role at no additional fee. For contract placements, we replace within the first two weeks at no charge. Terms are written into the agreement, not just promised on a call.
Whether you are filling a role or looking for your next one, the first conversation is short, free and honest about whether we can help.
